I pm'ed the douchebag on eBay, told him the crown is not ceramic and corners are too pointy...and he responded with a YouTube video and told me there are no discrepancies! Either a tool that was scammed or an unrepentant ripoff artist. Also flagged with eBay as counterfeit. Bet they won't to anything though.

What happens when the seller actually pays and gets the watch? Dispute with PayPal?

I know eBay doesn't give a fck because the higher the bid the more money they get but there has to be some protection.

I meant someone else. A unsuspecting buyer
I guess sometimes people just never get there watch authenticated and just keep it unaware, to be honest if you're going to buy a watch online without doing the nessesery research and safeguarding then you should expect a lemon,

I'm starting to believe (based upon responses I receive from people selling replicas on ebay) that some people really don't know their watch is fake. Others have a suspicion but play dumb. Still others know exactly what they are doing. It amazes me the amount of money people will blindly pay for these fakes. When you report boys make sure you tell eBay that you have also contacted the watch manufacturer.

I'm the lucky buyer, and my decision to bid was based solely on the sellers description - I felt I could trust him:

Selling their collectible watch. I bought them in the official boutique. Good condition, the exact time. No box, etc. But I will send the watch in a box on my other watches OMEGA. No returns. Sold as is.

Well for me I buy a lot of vintage watches on eBay. I have stayed away from buying vintage omegas due to the huge amount using really good repainted/fake dials. "Franken"

I bought a universal geneve that had a micro rotor movement and crown but the case and glass were not original nbd the movement is good enough.
