So my wife bought me a Rep Deep Sea Sea Dweller "D-Blue" for Christmas. She was hoping I would like it...
Little did she know it would be sending me on a trip down this fascinating rabbit hole...
And right now, I'm finalizing an order with HONT for the purchase of a BTF Daytona Black Dial and VSF DJ41.
Lord help me, and my lovely wife...

Here's what I could get out of her regarding the source of my DSSD D-Blue: Factory is BP, and the movement is a 2813. It's got a very nice finish/quality (at least by my inexperienced inspection) a fully functional bracelet, the Crystal has the etched Rolex Crown, and it has stayed within 15 seconds of perfect since Christmas day (~ -2 seconds/day).

And I just gotta say, this place (And the Reddit group) are AWESOME.

Welcome, and lol - the rabbit hole is very deep.

You got the best D-Blue, IMHO. The BP dial is spot on (BP dials in general are really excellent) - the blue fade and green text are the best out there. I still regret selling mine. I'd have another one without thinking twice (oh, except I vowed to stop buying reps... must stop buying reps). The movement is entry level, but plenty of 2813s go on for years without issue and replacing one if it craps out costs peanuts.

Enjoy the new additions too. And then the ones after that, and...
