My much anticipated Oris Chrono from Silix finally arrived today! I gotta say, its the first rep I have had that made me want to take a better picture. Most of the reps out there can be picked out. This was my first foray into what some call "super reps". I must say, I am impressed. The level of quality in this far surpass any of my rollies (though I dont have a SSD yet) or pams. It looks like the real thing! It feels like the real things! Its not Ti like the gen, but it looks the part, all functions work great. The only thing thats off a little is the day wheel. But over the days I might find more to nit-pick at. But mostly I am going to enjoy this watch. Also, I wil plan for my next "super rep".
Oh yeah, I finally found out how to use the macro setting on my cam! Holy crap what a difference! These arent the best pics, but they are WAY better then any others I have posted. Now all I need is Photoshop!

Awesome watch! I'm contemplating in purchasing this watch as my next rep. Besides the date wheel being off centered, case not made in titanium, and SS bracelet not included. What other discrepancies have you noticed so far? How is the lume?

The date wheel can be fixed with a servicing most likely. A SS bracelet will soon be available. Dont know about a Ti case. This looks like the gen, but weighs a bit more because its SS. Other then that, its great! I had resisted spending money on these more expensive reps, but this caught my eye and I was like "whoa!" Very pleased with it! I will be getting the SS bracelet as soon as its available. The watch is thick! But wears well due to the lug design. Also, this is my first asian 7750, I had been hesitant as I hear of problems here and there. But so far its working well, once the newness wears off I probably wont play with it much.

Holy MAcro! Nice watch. The ORIS brand is famous for its reliability. The rep looks really good. Wear it well!
Thats one of those watches no one would ever "call you out" on.
