All the hype around the FF has finally made me bite the bullet and just go for it.
From what I can see of the QC pictures I got from TS, it looks beautiful... :wowa:

One thing did catch my eye when I was going through the QC's.
Not sure if it is my OCD raging but is that a small scratch on the strap? (Last picture, Not sure what it's called but the part to the left of the watch clasp.)

Other than that, it looks beautiful and I hate and love you RWI members for emptying out my wallet

PS No idea how an extra e snuck into the thread title....

That's the cameraman's reflection.

Good luck on your purchase and enjoy the watch! You will find that it is a very very good rep with few flaws.

Strap options are limited though, due to the strap size. 23mm is very uncommon. I ended up having a pair of leather straps custom made.

Yup, I bit the bullet too and just got the QC pics as well. kangp, I hope you don't mind me piggy-backing on your thread because I don't want to clutter the board but I also have a QC question as well.

On this pic, is it me or is the "N" much larger than the "B" on the other side (and a little distorted though it could just be due to the curve)?

I'm no expert but it does look a bit bigger.

Edenresident, that´s definitely the right version with the hex-screws and it looks tops, sharp and correct engravings.
Hi Kangp - on Yours I cannot quite make out if it´s just got the normal screws, there is a slightly cheaper version out that is not worth the while. Make sure Yours got the hexscrews as well, otherwise refuse and upgrade (pics are too small/ unsharp to tell but I´d recheck..fast)

Daywatch, thanks! I just want to confirm that the engraved letter "N" is OK and not distorted, right? It looks a bit bigger than the "B". Thanks again.

Anyone know if the one offered by TS is the slightly cheaper version?

The ones pictured on TSwatch are the good version, they all have hex-screws - on Your qc-pics I can´t make it out well but it looks like normal screws, on mine I have taken them off but Your qc should look like the ones of Edenresident - hexagonal, than it´s ok, TD´s and factories are mixing them up a bit.

Verified with TS. I am getting the one with hexagonal screws.
My heart dropped for a moment there waiting for the response...
Thanks for the info.
On a side note, why did you take out the hex screws?
I heard they were a pain and that you had to use a T3 but I don't see why you'd swap them out.

Mine is the one with the original too-small-strap that only fits 6.5 wrists. As I kept changing straps and did not want to deal with the flimsy hex-screws each time I replaced them with 22mm/2mm gen-spec reinforced rolex-springbars and with the lugholes the BP has these are fun and easy to use to swap straps in a minute:)

ended up keeping it on a 24mm Brady sailcloath, the most similar to the original

+1 for the Brady sailcloth strap. Much more substantial than the rep strap and makes the rep into more of a gen-like experience ;-) Its an awesome rep to be sure! I might also mention that I spent GBP130 getting the movement serviced as soon as the watch arrived. Went from gaining ~30 secs/day to bang-on accurate and it also made the movement much quieter, weirdly enough...

Where can I find Brady straps?
I didn't see Brady under the TD section.

Just to confirm, you did use the T3 size to remove the screws right?

Yes, used one T3 hexdriver on one side and a cheap kit for repairing mobile phones & electronics which contains a small sized selection, most probably it was another T3, to secure on the other side.
