So I was unlucky enough to have to look at selling some of my most prized frankens recently and while I am/was trying to dig up the details on some of them I can't help but remember the "blood, sweat, tears, and lots of dollars" a lot of these cost me over the years. Not to mention the thrill of the hunt. I know everyone has different reasons for frankening and I know I have seen some amazing pieces over the years. I am curious to see what else people have been up to in this regard. I've had everything from light to heavily frankened pieces over the years. I actually still have a couple with my most recent fellow member and watchmaker, I won't mention him by name in case he doesn't want me to. I do also have to give a shout out to bklm1234 & oascom for all thier help over the years too!
Anyway, I don't usually show all my cards, and I won't here either, but someone has to get this thing started. I am curious to see whats out there.
For some reason my pictures always seem to come out sideways or upside down, hopefully you have better luck than me.
First up this gorgeous Bluesy -
JF Case
ST 18K Bezel
Gen Insert
Gen Dial
Gen Hands
Gen Crown
Gen Clasp
Gen Crystal
Aftermarket 18K/SS band
VR3135 Serviced and Pressure tested to 3TM. (I think?)
The next 2 are from or finished up by BK.
Noob V6s Case
Gen Bezel & Insert
Prof Crystal
Gen ETA
ARF Bracelet
Simple but great for me!
Next up is a JF
JF Sub
Gen Crystal
Gen Insert
Gen Crown & Tube
Noob Dial with JF indices
Swiss 2824
Gen Bracelet
Last for now is basically a Genestien Buckly DJ - All gen except movement (When on the jubilee)
And final was one that I sold a while back. The Stainless DJ on the left. I still regret it! If you bought it and see this, I will buy it back. Thank you.
Ok guys & gals, lets see what you got!
