It would be helpful to know why they are not trusted

I have perused other rep sites during my research and some of this sites use TDs that RWI, doesn't. Admittingly, this is my main site and the only one I am member. When I first joined Andiot was not a full TD, yet, Now he is. I just finished the thread in regards to Geektime. What caught my eye was a poster stated, "Geektime is a TD on here for a reason." Although, I have zero intentions of using Geektime, as I honestly have been/ will continue using the TD list here and it would be great to know why others sites are using certain ones and RWI is not. It would be great to see a breakdown why RWI does not recommend. It would be entertaining and helpful for new members.

First they would have to get hold of the big boss man trailboss99 with the intention of being a TD and then he will decide after being vetted. I am not privy to how long the process takes before they can become a probationary TD but the process that has been in place for longer then I have been here works.

Thanks for the reply, I get it if it's a need to know basis. I want to say I have seen 3 other sites. Each of course have their own style and culture of how things run. Just like here, there has been TD bashing. There was certain thread on here that was long on a TD, and if I didn't follow it start to finish, I would have never used the TD. The other day with a bit of hesitation the TD had what I needed and I decided to use. This far the TD has been top notch... Now I am hoping their site comes back up.

TD by RWI standards is different. If you're a TD here it means there is some forum support for you if stuff goes wrong.

Now the term TD is so diluted. Everyone and their mother uses it for dealers they "trust". But that isn't what the term stands for.

Geektime is a respectable dealer that many have used but is NOT a TD. That means if you have issues with him RWI cannot step in to help mediate.

I assume that RWI has higher standards when it comes to TD's and they need to have cause they give
signifikant assistence when you have trouble with a TD. May be some dealers don't wanne do the work
to proof they fullfil these standards.

yep, this forum has a high standard, so those who become TDs will have a good flow of white customers.
And the TDs will also charge accordingly.

The random sellers outside the forum you won't get any protection basically but they are definitely cheaper.

because he sends items and says they are of XYZ factory but they are actually of ABC factory. when brought up on it, he blames his own supplier and said he did not check and dropshipped the items and offers no solution
