Issue with Explorer 2 clasp

Hey

Please forgive me if I’ve posted this in the wrong section.

I’ve got this clean Explorer 2 with an issue with the folding clasp. Please see photo.

Is this caused by a spring bar that is too short or the depth of the drilled hole not being sufficient?

It moves on one side of the attachment, so to me it’s as if the spring is not entering the hole, I just can’t work out why.

Is it possible to fixed or easier to just purchase a new bracelet.

I’ve considered loctite but wanted to check with you guys for the expert wisdom first.

I think the clasp holes are too close to the end. It doesn’t even seem to sit flush once you place the whole thing together.

I think I’ll need to replace the bracelet.

Don’t suppose you know the bracelet size for the Explorer 2 (226570). I presume it’s 21mm but I’ve read different sizes on different sites too.

I’ve removed the spring bar as I thought it was not the right size.

I’ve managed to get it working with another spring bar but it seems it’s still loose.



I just need to find what size spring bar is needed for it.
