Simple negative review guys,

Not much to say.

Ordered a watch, asked specifically for uk forwarding, was charged 60 usd for it but the watch was sent with EMS directly to me. :/

When i was given the tracking no. i felt something was wrong so i've asked them again to double check if they really used the forwarding method like i've asked and they confirmed it once again.

Watch arrived directly to my local post and was siezed.

puretime argues it's not their fault because the tracking info shows the package was delivered.

I really don't know what went wrong at the post office and why the tracking is showing this but i've provided both PT and a mod here proof that the watch was indeed siezed.

I trust many of you know me by now. I'm not the type of guy who would lie about such a thing.

I don't know why they don't show any sign of decency and admit they are to be blamed for at least part of the issue.

This was my 2nd order with them and certainly my last. My 1st order was never picked up in uk by their agent so the package went back to china and only after making a complaint here they sent it back to me.

So overall my experience with them was horrible.

I really don't know what's to trust about this trusted dealer.

I'll take the loss, i won't bitch about it any more but i have proof backing up all i've stated above.

Strange things can happen to tracking number info when a watch gets seized by Customs, the fact that it was marked as delivered means the seller wouldn't re-ship - Customs is probably aware of this fact.

Damn my review section is not giving me a break lately...

Firstly I am sorry we didnt use UK redirection for your package, it was my staff's fault and I asked Rainy and she said she missed that. I can refund the overcharged shipping fee to you.

We used EMS because we have been shipping to Romania by EMS without any problems, and she didnt expect someone would ask to ship from UK, but the customer paid for it and we should ship as instructed, I again apologise for this.

I was informed by the customer and a forum mod that the package was seized by the customs despite the tracking clearly said DELIVERED TO RECIPIENT.

I checked with my people and the shipping agent and they both told me the package was delivered and the shipper said nothing happened like this before.

The customer also provided with a hand written form in Romanian and I had no way to translate, I even contacted a human translator in China and she quoted me $100 to translate the document into Chinese. Since the document may contain sensitive personal information so I am not going to post here. I tried to find the info I know on the hand written document and I could find the customer name and Audemars Piguet AP, and the tracking number is missing on the document.

I also tried 3 different tracking sites (EMS.com.cn, 17track.net and Posta-Romana.ro) and all showed the package was delivered. Please check the screen shot of the tracking below (I crossed out some senstitive information) from Posta-Romana.ro which I think should be the best since ems and 17track may only have the translated version of the tracking.

Based on the info I have, it clearly shows delivered to me so I really cannot replace this shipment.

Regarding your first order, I am sorry about it. It is a mail forwarding company in UK, they inform us when a package is delivered so we had no idea they didnt pick up your package.

Again I am so sorry about everything happened and please let me know if you want the extra shipping fee refunded. I know it is not likely for you to use us in the future but we still look forward to serving you again.

ok puretime nice of you to chime in.

I worked my way up around here and i don't intend to mess up my 'reputation' by lying about a missing watch.

Anyway as i said, i'll take the loss. I also get your point but your staff should have paied more attention and most of all not lie to me about it afterwards.

I'll send you my pp address to refund me the delivery cost diff at least.


So in conclusion, you guys seem nice... maybe it's just my bad luck idk , but hey, i have something in mind, so maybe you could do me a favour.

It got delivered on the 12th of July, and it will be delivered again on the 12th of September . . . the tracking number is screwed up - this doesn't seem to bother Angus, he's obviously quite happy to continue loosing customers with his way of handling problems.

I admit I didnt notice the September thing, I was only looking at the Day since this happened last month and I didnt expect anything else. And the final 2 trackings were repeating themselves so I thought it was only a duplicate entry.

I hate this... really... if I reship, what should I respond to when someone asked me to reship when the tracking says delivered in the future? Shall I reship them all?

Here is the screen cap of the tracking info from ems.com.cn:

The Chinese version even shows the customer's name on the delivered note, the English version says delivery only.

I will PM the tracking number to the MODs and you can check it out as well.

One could try to reach out to post Romania and confirm with them if hold by customs, why doing all this back an forth if obviously there will be no clear picture on the tracking info.

One info if they stand 2x delivery attempted and a strange number it means the customs office i had the same issue with a packet from a non TD here and had exactly the same status posts. So i know all the tracking things :)

Just as an info for future problems

PT reached out to me and offered me a new watch in return. How nice is that ! Already got the new QC pics.

I really appreciate how these guys took responsibility and did the right thing in the end.
Also, as i previously said ( before they offered me the replacement watch ! ) Angus or who ever is in charge over there looks to be a solid guy.
Maybe i'm just being unlucky that's all .

I was very excited about this watch but because of all the sh1t i had to go through for it , i kind of hate it now :) so i'll refuse it and choose another ( that will probably be cheaper anyway ).

Raddave yllekp could one of you guys edit the thread title to : SOLVED and put the 'negative' in strikethrough text ?
