I had this picture posted with a Tritico from Panerai on a thread about the Antiquorum/Ebay auction. It was a prototype for Israeli frogmen. Styling wise and dating info available would put it out around the same time as the Egyptian. Just thought it was very interesting and to beat some of the jokesters to the punch line I included the "or Polish" line in the title! There obviously is very little info out on this watch and in the end they actually pulled it from the auction lineup due to, quote:

"Lot Withdrawn - This lot has been withdrawn as the archives for watches produced before the Vendôme Group bought Panerai do not allow to sufficiently authenticate the watch."

Can anybody weigh in with more info, maybe Enzo has something?
Someone post a pic of the Egyptian for comparison

Looks like a lock for the bezel. Needed for computing dive time and being sure no accidental +or- due to bezel rotating unknowingly. Rlx applied a "one way rotation" to their subs to prevent divers from overestimating their time remaining.
