Is Your Daily Wearer a Rep?

Or do you rotate reps and gens (or reps and reps) throughout the week? Would you ever have a one-watch collection that consisted exclusively of a rep? Or, if not a one-watch collection, an everyday watch that is a rep?

I rarely wear the same watch for more than a day, tbh. Its a healthy rotation between reps and a couple of cheapo gens (Swatch, Seiko, G-Shock and the like).

Personally, I’d never go for a one-watch collection, regardless of whether it’s a gen or a rep. Too boring. I need variety 😅

I don’t have a daily wearer exactly, but I like to always have a watch on- my beater is a Luminox but i wear the no date sub, a hand built panerai and my Belkin pretty much every chance I get so all in really heavy rotation.

Yes I rotate all the time. I wear a lot of gens but love my reps.
my want to buy list is rep heavy now with only a couple of tens on the wish list .
I couldn’t go down to just one watch as I’d always think I’d picked the wrong one.

I apologize for making anyone think about only having one watch. I should have known that is triggering. It will be OK. I promise.

For spring and summer, I wake up in the morning and put on a Traska Commuter. In fall and winter, I wake up and put on an Oris BCPD. I’m trying to imagine whether I would ever do the same for a rep. Or whether they would always be more occasional pieces.

I’m really in love with the grand seiko heritage watches they made a few years back with a watch for each season, and I’ve been trying to figure out what mine will be ever since.

I wear watches every day.
For rough work, I like to wear my Tudor Rep (which now looks like it fell into a cement mixer).
Otherwise, I switch between my Reps about every two days.
I rarely wear my Gen anymore.

I wear my Apple Watch everyday to work, sometimes I rotate between my Santos or my Datejust. When it's sunny and good weather I prefer my DJ as I got an aftermarket set bezel with lab diamonds.

Usually it's my Apple Watch though :p

In my free-time it's the prior two watches + an Omega x Swatch Speedmaster. Depends if it's more casual or sporty.

For the most part I don't distinguish between rep and gen in my choosing anymore, they're all just eye candy 💪

If they give me a smile they get worn, if not they get sold/gifted (except for the sentimental ones)

The only exception is when hitting the beach/pool - there it's always a Casioak.
