is this watch a fake???

Hi Gang,
Just been browsing the bay and found a guy from spain selling a panerai watch,looking at the papers he has got with it ,the chrono card he has,has got no numbers on it at all,surely if this is a gen watch it would have or am i wrong, he started it off at 1c and now its on £2.5k !!!!! he also has a hublot watch i suspect this is crap too!!!!

Most people are automatically going to say it's fake here. Ask him to provide proof of purchase. or to meet up at an AD. Only way to be sure.

He also claims it's an automatic, yet is has a transparent back... here's it's plainly evident it's not auto & looking at the movement it looks like a fake.. I'm no expert though - just a beginner finding his feet!! Edit - scratch that about the movement, just looked at a bigger pic & now not so sure - maybe he just doesn't know what he's talking about... like me :shock:

I have just had another look at the bigger picture of the movement,it dosent look like a automatic movement to me,so i guess it`s a fake !!!!

Man, look at that outer box : the typical chinese pattern. I have never received a good quality outerbox. And that wrap paper...
This seller is an idiot, as if he had a bit of knowledge, he could make the thing look much better and much more real.

Has anyone seen his other sales ? His ridiculous Hublot confirms his PAM is fake... (besides, he's mixing fake and "gen"? pics)

God this guy is gonna make a killing for a fake watch,his hublot he`s selling looks like a cheap £40 job to me,he also sold a tag heuer the other day for £1500 plus,i know for sure it`s a fake my brother has the same watch :roll: !!!!!

I shopped him to ebay and got the usual "we will look into it"

i suggest somemore people shop him to ebay and maybe they will take notice

Who'd pay that much to someone with only 13 feedbacks?
When you look into those feedbacks, he's sold a couple of used cars ... the last to a now unregistered user ?? Also the private auction method lends itself to shady dealing.

Yep the guys name was gmt.cet.pacific, i`m gonna look to see what else is on there from him,dont know if they have just been removed or sold and not available anymore

When a seller has been obviously passing counterfeit for the genuine item, his account should be closed immediately, whatever his excuses are.
