I say, if you want one and it pops up in sales, buy it... they don't show up too often.

If you want to order from china, I think I would wait. There was a review recently, I believe the current version has a bad crystal and causes distortion on the dial numbers.

If you can get one used, get a v1... I recently bought one. The crystal dome is awesome but it doeshave a light blue AR, which isn't Gen. But still a very nice piece.
