Hi guys, I just received my u2 that I bought from m2m few weeks ago.

It's beautiful and the AR is lived up to the hype.

One thing that bothers me is the rubber strap fitment which have been cutter. It looks like this

Does the short side supposed to sit very straight like that?

Thanks in advance

No, they cut it too short and that's why it looks like that.. I have a U2 and when fitting it to my wrist I noticed that you have to leave extra rubber off the end in order for it to size properly. If this wasn't disclosed in the sales thread you may want to talk to the seller as this isn't a problem you just "miss". It also puts more stress on the spring bar.

Hi mate, thanks for your explanation.

And no, the seller didn't disclose about this in the seller thread, he's in our neighbor fora and not a member here I think. But frankly the size is just about right for my 7" wrist. So I would like to know if there's any adjustment on the cutting method that I can do to fix this, while still keep the 7" size.

I also noticed the date changed at 6am,is this adjustable?

Thanks guys

Had the same problem...I trimmed it too short. I fixed it by taking a sliver of the cut off band and placing it in the clasp hole before reconnecting the band. This will keep it from popping out.

Not adjustable per see, you will need to remove the movement, and reset the hands by removing them, and refitting after finding midnight. Before contemplating this however, you may want to check the calendar quick set functionality to ensure the date is flipping over cleanly, and not dragging on the underside of the dial, this can cause prolonged date change.

If these 2 issues were not disclosed to you when you bought it I would ask for a refund and return the watch to the seller. Depending on how much you paid for the watch, even if you are out the return shippng it would be cheaper than dealing with the date change and strap hassle....There are other watches out there or maybe buy a new one from a TD probably cheaper in the long run.
