Hi,

I found these pics on the website of a watch expert (not the RWI experts). The one on the left is supposed to be a gen, but I can't find any other matching pic (with L SWISS MADE L), even on the official website.

What do you think ?

Depends on series,

For example the 111 and the 177 series, The ones with the sandwich dials always comes with the l swiss made l and the ones with the sausage dials comes with l swiss l.
For the 005 I am not too sure. the one on the left is a gen and the one on the right is a rep.

this is the gen LOS is raffling, it comes with l swiss made l

I can't help you for this model!
But I do know that the official website has error inserted.
Example: if you check the 036 on the website it has 'L SWISS L' while the gen as 'T SWISS T' and most of the reps have the wrong writing.
Don't trust what you see in the rep business!

Would they do it on purpose to fool the rep makers ?

Sometimes the official website for paneria will purposely give a wrong picture to send the replica industry the wrong way.

We have many instances here already.

Yes they will do it

My guess would be that they haven't updated the pics on the Panerai website since the watch hasn't really changed at all since its introduction.

The current models, starting with "I" or "J" series have "Swiss Made" instead of just "Swiss".
