Is this bracelet Genuine?

Posted this question in another rolex section by accident before finding out this is the right place to ask..

I stumbled across this bracelet that the guy says is genuine off his submariner. Thinking about picking it up to use it for some sort of project. Is it real and if so, what is it worth?
