Is this a good rep? First PAM.

This is my first Panerai. Just curious if it's a good rep. The only thing I noticed is the date and the cyclops is a bit misaligned.

It is a first class lower status rep. There are two versions, one with a 21J movement and working PR gauge, and one with an A7750 movement but non-working PR gauge. This one seems to be the former.

How can you tell the PR gauge isn't working? Is there anything else about the way it looks that could be a giveaway?

Here are a few more pics. Does the date/cyclops look off? Also I'm not so sure about the movement I've never seen a Panerai movement that looks like this.

There are too many things wrong with this watch. It wouldn't even be called giveaways.
1. Date font is wrong
2. Cyclops placement is not centered
3. 6 shape is wrong
4. 9 marker is longer than gen
5. Minute indices on the main dial and the seconds markers on the subdial are fatter and shorter
6. LSML placement is wrong
7. Cannon pinion is a nipple
8. Crown guard pin is sunk
9. Crown guard is too puffy
10. Gen has a closed caseback

Also are you saying there are so many things wrong with this watch that it's obviously not a gen? Or are you saying the things wrong with it are too subtle to really notice?

Well your interest in buying box and papers along with a rep that's identical to gen raises questions as to your intentions. Rep boxes and papers by the way look as bad as the watch you're asking about.

Honestly, the box does nothing for me. I have only two PAM boxes. One I didn't really want but the TD sent it with the watch. The other was a gen set which I bought for cheap just to see how different it was from the rep box.

Now, as to WHAT you would like to consider buying, read the thread in my signature. It is considered the PAM Rep Bible. As to WHERE, go to the front page as @Breitling Pilot mentioned and look for Trusted Dealers. They source from the same factories so just pick one that seems to have the best reputation (each has a review section).
