Is this a gen Tag Calibre 5

So this is apparently a genuine Tag, not a replica.. it belongs to my partner, not sure when it was purchased.
I am embarrassed how gross it is, even after working at it with a polishing cloth... I think i'll have it buffed and polished. The bezel looks like its been through a war.
Would love to hear some feedback! Is it a gen?
