I would guess asian because of the wheel on the anti shock and the inaccurate 2 piece plate. But im not an expert YET

"The wheel on the anti-shock"? What part are you talking about Joey?

These square (stock) bridged, non-swan neck movements are Swiss. Most likely a completely undecorated 6497-1 that they glue the foil plates on top of, as babola said. The PAM036 reps, as well as others, had this style of movement. Sometimes you can find these with the Incabloc shock protection, but not always, as seen here. The beveled/polished gears, swan neck regulators and engraved bridges are all Chinese parts added to base Swiss movements, so even "Swiss" movements in those reps aren't 100% Swiss.

Yeah exactly the wheel in the anti shock (incablock) the swiss ones i've seen look like they have 2 spokes, Swiss is just the better asian movement, lol...

Ah, gotcha. No, the Swiss definitely have 3 spokes, just like the Asian movements. The difference is that the Asian movements have flared spokes and the Swiss movements have straight spokes. This only applies to rep movements, the gen Panerai movements have flared spokes and are most definitely Swiss.

Very interesting indeed. My movement looks exactly the same with the exception that mine carries an Incabloc shock system whereas this one Novodiac shock absorber system. I don't know what the price difference between the shock absorbers are....I don't imagine it being very significant?!? Anyone? Perhaps several dollars difference?

Correct me if I'm wrong, on the Asian Balance wheel with the flarred spokes, the entire assembly is made of Glucydur? Whereas the swiss balance wheel with the straight spokes are not Glucydur?

Indy.
