I really like that tobacco-brown dial on the 390. I also really like the gen DLC--that nice grey colour. Strikes me that a combo with the brown dial and the grey case would be very beautiful. Is there such a thing? Is there such a thing repped?

There is no good replicas with these characteristics.
The moere similar are 386 (First Class rep) an d 339 (low grade rep), but the gen is Composite and the rep Alu or SS DLC coated.
There are some mods of beautiful 390 with the case DLC coated, you could find some pics in the forum (I don't remember where, but there is someone)

Wow! That's beautiful! How good is the quality on this one--because your comment, Ale, concerns me? I tend to be dazzled by the good looks, and neglect the finer details. Thanks for steering me away from junk--if that is what it is!
The PAM386 and the PAM339 are what they are (first class and low grade respectively). The PAM390 is a first-class rep but for some it is a super rep, especially when you replace the existing H-Factory CG with a Noob Factory one. As for the DLC coated version of the PAM390, it is most definitely not junk as even gen PAMs get this treatment from their Paneristi owners.

Chances are you have auto subscription switched on to any thread you post in. This happened to some folk when we changed software from the old PHBB3 to vB. Go to your control panel and check. Switch auto subscribe off and turn notification by instant email on.
EDIT: Just checked, you do but I'll let you switch it off so you know where it is
Oh, and you need to select the email option every time you subscribe to a new thread, if you tick it in the CP it subscribes you to every thread posted in again.

Yes the Toro watch looks good but we don't know about the quality of DLC.
If you want a really good DLC you must get the DLC from an specialist in this coating.
It is not cheap, but the results are awesome !!

OK, I give up! I found how to turn on 'instant email', but I can't find the button to turn off 'auto-sbscribe'. I went through every edit button on my control panel.:frustrating: Where is it?! Argh!!!!
