I decided to try a new dealer I stumbled upon on this forum last week. After reading ALE's guide very very thoroughly ( which I do everytime before I buy a new PAM and sometimes just for fun :) ) I decided to go for a KW V2 N series PAM359 with Seagull movement, which is supposed to be almost in the super rep league. The seller confirmed that it was in stock and I made a payment. After a couple of days he sent me the qc pics and I was all excited and almost confirmed shipping..but I did notice that the watch was the O-series version. The guide says that the O-series is some Puretime version and supposedly not as good as the KW version, so I declined and went for the KW O-series PAM312 with Seagull which was in stock instead. The seller now claims ( after the nex best thing - the 312 - has been shipped ) that the O series PAM359 is indeed a KW watch with Seagull and that they make it the O series now instead of N. I haven't found anything on this topic so far and would like to know if anybody has any info on this matter. Thanks in advance for your time and replies!

If your QC photos show the balance wheel @6 instead of @11, then the PAM359 might be just a V2 KW PAM359 with an updated O-series caseback.

I was fixated on the information I got from the guide which is clear that the O series comes from some other maker ( Puretime version ). But the watch on the qc pics has the balance wheel at 6...so I guess I messed up.. :( I told the seller I wanted a KW ST255 version, he said he can't source it, so I went for the 312 instead, but he told me that the watch was indeed a KW AFTER he sent me the tracking number!!! God damn...and I wanted the 359 so bad.. :( Why didn't he say something..

And it's supposed to be a KW?

Only KW was known to have released a ST2555 based P.9000 decorated movement, and dealers would know which maker they got their rep from, so I would say it's a safe bet it is a KW.

Yeah, I realize that now..Should have asked sooner, but I was sure it wasn't the right one..Well, water under the bridge now.. :( I think this should be mentioned in the "Guide".

Dear friend I cannot avoid that a naker releases a rep with N-series (see the pics in all catalogues available) and without previous announcement it changes to O-series. We are talking about reps and there are neither fixed rules nor concrete specifications

Anyway in the GUIDE is clearly indicated that Seagull has balance wheel @6 and you QC pics show clearly the BW is in that position. Obviously it is a Seagull. Since it is also clearly indicated that only KW has Seagull version, you could have supposed some weird thing in your watch and asked about that in the forum.

I will include this new matter in the PAM GUIDE indicating that Seagull KW version can have N or O-series on caseback

Thanks for the info

I got an "O" series for QC last week too and after i compare with the movement pic, i can say that it is really a KW version.
