Is there a method to polish stainless steel?

Still contemplating if I should reject this watch as the stainless steel looks "cloudy" and dirty...is there a way to buff it out? If you guys have a solution then I would not need to request a new watch :/

I have always used a cap cod cloth then finished the polishing up with a little bluemagic metal polish cream and some cotton balls. Good luck with the direction you choose to go in.

It's not so much cloudy, as bushed - if you want it reflective, you need a different model of watch.

you should not reject the watch as the watch is how it should be. QC pictures are to show the correct watch without any major flaws.

You can polish the watch when you get it, or have a jeweler polish it. Professional watch makers and jewelers do not polish things with cape cod cloth.

That watch is what is called brushed stainless. Polish won't fix that actually. It needs to be re bushed if it's not to your liking and that's nothing your going to be able to do well on your own

If you want buy a nice watch at a cheap price, go with the sead PROMOs (TD Supermirrors). You can take a PROMO 390 @ $155 or a PROMO 360 (DLCed) @ $ 175.... a very good deal.

I have used different grades of auto paint polishes and compounds because that is what I have readily available in my garage.

^^ same here. + A orbital buffer and a med grade pad.

you have to do some sanding with a high grit sandpaper firs though.
