in particular the 42mm version ? from my research it sounds like there is nothing but a cheap quartz version that is completely wrong to the genuine.
What matters most to you?
Working chrono = quartz with decent (not perfect) dial spacing, or (?)Seagull automatic with inaccurate spacing, caseback, etc.
Non-working chrono = 21j with accurate subdial spacing.
Either way, the crown, bezel, crystal and bracelet are crapshoots for accuracy.
Rumor has it there will be a more accurate mechanical model down the road that uses the modified 7750(?) now being used in the Planet Ocean Chrono.
It'll sell like mad based on posts on the rep fora.
