Is the ETA 2824-2 swiss and or a clone?

I'm interested in an SOSF with the ETA 2824-2 movement. Is this movement a swiss or asian clone. Thanks,

Who knows? Very few true 100% "Swiss" ETAs around. But the Asian clone ETAs are good, at least the 2 I have are.

ask your dealer if it is a clone or ETA!
I have some clone movements and they run very good!
One is +2 sec a week
If you google you can find reports and some people say, they are even better!

But anyhow, the SOSF come with an 2836-2 ETA movement like the gen.

I had an Eta 2824 in my SOSF but depending on who you buy from there is no guarantee that you will receive a genuine Eta movement, more than likely will be a clone. Nothing wrong with a clone.

i always order the ETA clone.. better than getting a used/rebuilt ETA thinking its new. Very very few ETA movements out in the wild these days.
