Hi, guys. Calling for expert opinion here. Would you say the Blackbird is best Breitling rep? How would you rate its accuracy compare to gen?

i havent seen a new blackbird in person BUT i do have an ultimate BCE and its VERY good.. its flawless basicly except for the datewheel font but you can fix that by swapping the datewheel out.
The compass and pearl tabs are mostly misalgined. Date window is bigger but nobody will call you out unless it is compared with a gen side by side.
Factory bluish double AR crystal is good although the gen show mixture of both bluish nd purplish. Lume sucks as usual. Need to be gentle when changing the date via the crown as too much pressure apply will cause damage and jam the date wheel.
Bracelet is very well made but still comes with the rounded top screw (gen has the flat top screws).
Although with the above flaws, I still like it alot. Looks really nice with that stealth feel.
Overall rating 8/10.

After seeing a gen Black Bird I have wanted one, but the crapshoot on the pearl has detered me from buying.
Same here,i was at the AD yesterday and the Blackbird stood out as the nicest looking of the gens i seen....
The rep has that very blue tint to the AR coating that gens don't show,and of course the pearl issue,other then that,the pics of the reps look good...
I have owned around 6 BCE's and they are a great looking watch as well,polished bracelet on it is much nicer then the brushed blackbird,again....imo..... 8)

The blackbird is ok...but the BCE reigns supreme for the BReits...

i owned a blackbird, a BCE (still do), and 4 SFSO's.... sold all the SFSO's... sold the Blackbird.... but only because of the tab issue (not a major issue really, and if it was the only issue it would have stayed) and the caseback is wrong, wrong , wrong....
the caseback being a reverse negative of the gen is a major turn-off IMO... enough so that I have stayed away... if they fix that though, i will buy another in a heartbeat.....

Hey Fake, I felt the same way about the Blackbird when it came out. It just did nothing for me. When I was in New Orleans last I saw a gen and it really knocked my sox off. If or when they resolve the major issues with the reps I will have to have one.
Well I went into an AD. Only one in my area and they didn't have any for me to look at. Why I have no idea. I am only able to base it off the pics. When I say pop I am referring to the fact that the BCE is a chromed monster from hell. Every corner and angle. it's amazing. If they ever chromed the bezel you'd end up blind. :shock:
The BCE has become my new wingman for going to the pub on the pull haha I know it sounds chessy and it is especially since its a rep but shallow women love shiney things and I love shallow women

You know, all these mod that you guys could do to a rep. And all the details you've spotted,, and you are not doing this for a living...
But the factory, they are doing it as a living. I think they should, and believed they could, if they want to.. fix all that little things.. lume, datewheel, etc..

I am not impressed with the Genuine, the replica ... the blackbird period.
The way the subdials sit on the dial make them look disproportionately smaller than they should be.
The Pearl is not good imo.... everything in me wanted to like this watch.. .but when I tried on the Gen at Tourneau, I could not get turned on by it. I also think it is grossly overpriced.
BCE best imo.
