Is PureTime getting extremely lazy with QC? All other TDs are doing much better job

I've ordered like $5K in watches over the years with PureTime and have stuck with them as I'm a man of nature.

I've recently bought from other TDs and they spend the time to actually assess the watch before sending to me for QC.

Elena sent me a watch with +/- 14 seconds per day and I declined. She then tells me that this is within standard range. To stress my point I show her the last 3 QC pics of the watch from Reddit. Like literally the last QC pics (I didn't sort at all). They were all from JTime and were under +/- 4 seconds. I tell her 14 is not normal range and practically have to BEG her to find me a different watch.

She then comes back with a watch with +/- 15 seconds per day. If my issue was the accuracy was off, what makes her think that I'm going to accept a watch with worse accuracy?

Like it doesnt make any sense to me anymore. The QC process with puretime is extremely slow, they don't take the time to actually assess the watch, and I think I am wayyy better off now shopping elsewhere where TDs actually care.

Can you please comment? I have numerous friends on this forum who literally have to go to WAR with Elena to get a decent watch. The QC process is miserable. Like at this point, we're better off asking for a refund and going to smaller TDs. They put in much more effort.

First of all, I'm the one that gives out raises. Been that way for almost 3 decades. Second, it's not about becoming archaic. You and your "friends" are most likely a bunch of Reddit trolls who demand way too much from our TDs. They don't make watches and are not your servants. They try to make a money selling counterfeit goods. This isn't Amazon. PT has been around for a long time. There's a reason for that. Maybe the issue is that you're insecure. The slightest flaw makes you think that someone will call you out for your fake watch. It's ok. We are all here to soothe your insecurities

I am sorry if you are not satisfied with your purchase . To us, 13 sec 15 sec/ day is in a quite normal range.

We can regulate it to 4 sec,5 sec/ day if you don't accept this rate But you refused us to open the watch to regulate the rate for you . Please understand not every watch comes regulated from factory. It's a normal thing to open and regulate it. if you can not accept this, then we can only keep waiting for new ones from factory.

OK... I'm bored so I went back and read this... Your opinions matter of course, it's your money, but it appears that PT is trying to do their best and have been very patient. If it was me I'd refund your money and tell you to get lost.

Now you are back complaining again... For shitz sake, either you're a glutton for punishment or you just like to jerk people around...

Move on and find another TD or maybe better yet give up the Rep game as it seems you don't understand the product you are dealing with.
