Is Omeeega finally doing a black face SMP?

I stumbled across these pictures from the Omeega Basel World 2008:

If you look down about 3/4 of the way down the page, you'll see some shots of the SMP and SMP chrono. It could just be the lighting, but it sure looks like that's a black face/black bezel on there. Anyone know if Omeeega has broken down and is finally going to make the SMP in black?

Look at R2D2 signature. Seen it at Baselworld. Apparently it's a limited edition 007. It comes with glossy black dial like Submariner (which I don't really like). They get rid of the wave texture.

You know, as big as a Bond fan as I am, I still can't quite bring myself to like those "special edition" 007 watches. They just remind me a bit too much of those "special edition" Moonraker digital watches they gave out in Happy Meals. Plus, it's kind of the antithesis of Bond-like cool and style to be wearing something branded with a "007" all over the place. Kind of like if Brioni came out with a special "James Bond suit" and replaced the subtle pin stripes with lines of red "007s."

Not sure how new it is, but it's "newer" than the 2006 version which our rep are based on.
