Is my 177 crown sitting too far from the case?

With the crown fully pushed in and the lever locked the crown sits more towards the CG than the case. Is this normal? What might the cause be?

I don't think that's normal. Maybe the crown gotten stripped and it won't go all the way in when the stem was installed . Is it a franken watch? Looks like a titanium case with Davidsen dial.

That is the way the stock crown sits on that model...the crown can be upgraded by a few of the modders if you want to go that route.

Yes love the vacuum 177H alot too , but just have to ask what happened to the "L SWISS MADE L" marking?
Did you remove it vacuum?, If so why?

Jack, as you probably know you can shorten the winding stem to make the crown fit closer to the case,
but if you do you probably need to get a new Crown guard lever since the lever will get a lot looser.

The dial came without the "L SWISS MADE L" I will replace the dial.
