Is it still able to build a Tudor Big Block from scratch now?

Seems no luck on r/reptime. So I turned to here.

Anyway, if it's possible, would it be more gen parts oriented or rep parts oriented?

Because I did some research within the forum already. It's either full gen but the movement. Or using rep parts that are now discontinued.

Looks like a no go for me. But simply asking won't hurt I guess.

You can build a Big Block for Shure with this Case Kit.
But it is not a 1:1copy and needs a lot work.
Case Tube and Pusher are only pressed in and need to be changed.
Also the Case need work, the Rehaut need to be slimmed to fit a gen Plexy.
Lugholes need drilling to.

A lot of work for this project.
But it can be turned out like this. ;)

Thank you.
Here is my part List

Case set from the Bay incl. the good
Dial.

Gen 7750 Movement
Gen Tube and Crown
Gen 25-130 Plexy

At the moment Aftermarket Endlinks
Gen Spec Springbars
Aftermarket 78360 Italian bracelet from here.

For the Chrono hands they must be wided a bit to fit.

As I stated the Case must be reshaped
Tubehole must be retapped and countersink for the gen Tube.
Same for the pushers.
Rehaut must be slimmed on a Lathe to fit gen Plexi
Lugholes must be drilled
Usual polishing and brushing

Remember that the gen Parts for this are rare and not cheap.
Gen 589 Endlinks are really hard to get and go for 500€ or more :(

Thanks for the detailed info.
Tube hole and pushers are not at all tapped or they are tapped but with the wrong thread?
Do you know what size tap I need to tap them (normal or special Rolex one?)

The dial I suppose will fit a normal (non-Tudor) 7750 movement? also I suppose a normal 7750 movement will fit the case without issues.

The Tube and Pushers are pressed in.
You need to retap the holes.
For the Tube you need the usual Rolex Tap 3x0,35mm. You also must countersink the hole.
The Pushers need 2.50x0.20mm.

The Dial is gen Spec and fits the Valjoux 7750 perfect. Keep in mind the Gen Movement is also 7750 but 17 Jewells. ;)

I have a couple of Invicta watches with a 7750 and a SW500 I’d love to put in something like this.

Outstanding work!
