It's just you...

I agree, especially on presentation part...he should have doen a much better job, although some will never learn how to do it properly. I guess soem of us here developed a very crytical eye towards even gens, thanks to our love and appreciation of PAM replicas...for what is worth, some of us know more about gens than gen owners themselves 8)

The box looks the part though, many of those pre-A, A and early B series boxes used to come in darker shades of wood (maybe diferent wood altogether) compared to more recent ones...who knows for sure, anyway.

Why does the sticker have no S/N on it?

Did the gen A and B series stickers not have the seriel number on them?

The detailing of the dial is poor IMHO...

Correct, some of those painted/sausage T-dials in late A and early B-series look like they've been painted by hand.

Still, being T-dial PAMs they command astronomical prices, though :)

IMO, those little imperfections give an extra character to a historic PAM, and are evocative of those vintage hand-made pieces.

... I get an odd feeling

ODD --- it's exactly what I'm feeling for this watch. I just can't put my finger on it.

Anyway, thanks for weighing in peeps, not that I'm in the market for this watch. No way I'm gonna spend that much money on a gen watch in one take.

True, true. We're so nitpicky down to the littlest details. It's our blessing and our curse at the same time.
