Just curious as to why this one is different then the ones all the other dealers are carrying which are supposed to be the correct ones?

it has the same ganster whitewall tire bezel that is toooooo wide. it looks like the same gt that everybody else has to me. it has a different back engraving and it is brushed and polished ss. i would like to see that ar coating before i beleived it.

yea, that's what I am saying. Why does the back have a different engraving? I thought the one tht our current dealers have is the correct one? Also, isn't the whole bracelet supposed to be polished as opposed to only the mid-links being polished. Or am I missing something?

I have seen both gens.
This is the newer model.

only differences between the 2 models are the bracelet, it now combines brushed and polished ; the old one was all polished and the case back engraving is now totally different.

I first heard about the new model about 6 months ago, was available in Vegas AD ans some other select stores, I have never seen them both together, so I am not sure if they still make both models.
They are both great reps, but bth lack A/R.
I think another issue is the color of the date font.

Polished bracelet model, date font should and is red.
Brushed model I believe date font was changed to a dark burgundy or black, not positive, but this rep appears to have kept the bright red, which I think is not accurate.
Otherwise looks good, I prefer the brushed and polished bracelet.

Cheers,
M

why dont they just improve the "old" model GT? I love that watch and would totally buy another one if an awesome version would come out.

Howcome they dont have them with the Swiss 7750 movement? Shouldnt it be a 1:1 fit?

I ordered one with the brushed/polished from Joshua. It has the single car engraving on the case back. I checked on the date on the Japanese Breitling site and I'm 99% sure it's bright red on the gen Bentley GT Racing edition which is what this one is supposed to be....regards

i have come to the conclusion the only way out of that is to buy the white one so it is less noticeable.

i agree.plus the white dial version seems to have white walls along the inside of the date window which makes it look even more expensive/classy in my opinion.

that's what I did. Purchased the white one. But the day/date isn't always perfectly aligned... Why isnt this watch offered with a swiss movement?

Comon dealers let's come out with an "old style" Bentley GT like the new BCE reps. A lot of people and myself will be buying these, and I would get the Swiss one without even thinking twice. This is my favorite watch so far.
