Last Friday I sent payment to @sead1999 To purchase a Santos Dumont 38mm For a total cost of $219 shipped. The transaction ended with a PayPal Gift payment around 11pm GMT+1. After paying I asked Sead to confirm the payment. Even today, Sunday 25 August, I have not yet received a confirmation email from Sead. Is everything normal…? Usually for other purchases he always responded to me after a few hours, now almost three days have passed. I absolutely don't want to accuse anyone, I'm just asking if this has already happened to anyone else….

Hehe, nothing to worry about! Personally, I`ve never received any payment comfirmation from him, usually I hear from him again when QC is ready.

Ah, now everything is clear to me. So you pay he virtually disappears then reappears sending you the QC's Asking you for confirmation. All this is strange and quite horror movie style...

Ya , Of course I confirm it. I have purchased quite a few watches from Sead since 2012. But I didn't remember him sending the confirmation photos directly. On the topic of being a direct person, it's better that way. I've never liked ass kissers.

No it is not a parody and I apologize if perhaps it was misinterpreted. I just wanted to ask because it's been a while since I bought a watch from the legendary Sead. I thought he was sending me a confirmation email about receiving my payment. The 3D is all about this….
I simply asked if it was normal without wanting to accuse anyone or denigrate anyone. Everyone knows, including myself, that Sead is one of the best TS's ever. So let's avoid controversy, I just asked to refresh my memory as a fifty-two year old.

Seriously, imagine a small Chinese man in a country far far away, juggling all the tasks associated with inquiries, orders, shipping, and then having to answer tons of eMails, 24/7, Saturdays and Sundays included. It's the friggin' weekend, mate!

I've ordered from Sead only once post raid because he could get me a watch nobody else had in stock, and I think I heard from him twice or three times during the entire purchase process. Sead is a 1-man operation, not a call center . . .

I understand. I just allowed myself to ask. I didn't know he worked alone. I repeat and underline in large letters that I just wanted to have some information. I haven't written anything bad, in fact I have underlined in various posts that I have been buying watches from Sead since 2012 and in other circumstances only from Ryan & Andrew (Intime & Trustytime). I could have gotten it from these other two but I still chose Sead. We don't look for controversy where there isn't any. Happy Sunday my friends.
