very interesting....wish i would find such an old piece somewhere....
a guy that went to school with me, his parents bought an old cheap house in a tiny village, 25 miles away from the ocean, and they fixed it up...they found a somewhen in the 60's MV Augusta in pretty good shape in the basement...with white blue red striped tank.....so it got restored as well....and is worth tons of money !

These guys have some incredible watches in their 'museum', if that can be believed.

In addition to the Panerai set, they have 8 x 1680 subs and 5 x 1665 SD's, not to mention a few Bond subs and several vintage Daytonas and GMT's.

That is quite a collection.
