hey guys, ive been all over this forum lately. first time poster tho. anyways, ive been looking into getting a rep pam111 for myself lately. ive looked at silix, watcheden, sinowatches...etc. been comparing pictures with genuines and whatnot. though im still not an expert on this. anyways, i came across this "1:1 replica" on timeshops and was wondering what you guys think of it. how comparable is it to the real thing? any help would be greatly appreciated and will help me make my first rep purchase.

little more expensive, but swiss movement:) (movement detail also looks different, one has geneva striping other has pam printing) i cant tell you which one is more gen, im a TAG man, but a swiss movement is much higher quality, but if you are just buying for the style and face, and dont have any friends that can tell a swiss from a asian if you plan on tricking them...just buy the asian.

I figure you need a little more research before you pull triggers.

Take a look at puretime - you will see dates that the watches have been added to his site. The more recent PAMs are better than the older ones.

Then email Angus (Puretime) and discuss with him what you need.

I was always very conscious of that horrid blue double AR on the crystal (glass) - which just shouts rep. Most of the newer PAMs have single coated colourless/colorless (lol) AR.

Look around at recent posts and you will get an idea of what some of the experts are currently buying.

The sales corner is excellent - but again it helps if your research is pointing you in the right direction.

I spent along time here - got a watch from WBK - Then had it modded AR crystal by Fine DD, in the meantime I read alot lot more. I was interested in Rolex back then, and kept hearing of this trusted dealer here BK.

I bought my first BK sub from another member here - but I knew before what I wanted.

The more time you spend reading, the more confident you will become. The more confident and knowledgeable you are before you make your purchase the happier you will be with your first watch. From their it's just a slow emptying of the wallet :p
