Instagram Replica Seller Scam?

HI Guys,

On Instagram i found this guy posing with his replica watches. After checking a few of them and especially being interested in a Nautilus I decided to contact him. According to him a "friend" makes these watches for him and he paid 1000 euro for the Patek. I checked myself to see if it was the MKF or PF or another version but I can't seem to find the replica version as i did spot differences. Is he really getting these custom made or fooling people in paying a lot over the prices from TD's?

That seller on IG, who has been discussed several times on this forum, is completely full of shit. He's selling the exact same watches sold by our TDs. Don't believe that some Swiss watch guy is building them by hand. Its a complete scam. He told me directly his friend has "good contacts in eastern Europe" who manufacture the parts and then his skilled "Swiss" friend assembles the watches. lmao

By by the way, I haven’t even read your post. History and the frequency, likelihood and trends of these posts tell us it is 100% a scam. You’ll either get ripped off completely or you'llover pay for inferior products.

I dont one know why people try so hard to use sketchy “IG sellers” when there is a list of trusted dealers from/with a community like this. A community you obviously trust because you’re asking what we know about this sketch seller on IG.


Theres should be a sticky thread titlted “THAT INSTAGRAM SELLER IS A SCAM” to preemptively answer all these threads. Lol.

I just got an ARF datejust and a Hublot Big Bang which I both love from puretime, was not the easiest online order I ever made and had to wait a loooong time but at least you know what you get and prices are fair. Really happy this forum exists. Any of you guys know which Patek Nautilus this is on the pictures? Crown is not protruding as on the latest ppf and looks better than the MKF. I see people writing on his posts daily to buy these and he also posts stories which the packages ready for shipment, such a bummer for these people..

Ehh wtf are you serious "shady guy"?? I am not affiliated with that Instagram guy.. he resides in Sweden as me. I didnt pay until I got the watch...

Only reason that I wrote in this thread is because it was all full of bullshit and no one had bought from the IG guy, only rumors. Well I had, and I admit at high price....but due to circumstances I think I made a good deal.

But sure if you dont want to hear actual facts, never mind...I guess Mari115 dont like competition thats my 5 cents.
