Hello Guys
I am a new member in this forum. Basically, English is not my first language so please understand me just a little :console:
This is my first experience purchasing rep PAM243 so I would like to get some advice to you guys.
I am looking for a PAM243 from Puretime but there are two versions that I can see (Asian7750 movement and ETA 7750) I know ETA movement is more reliable than Asian movement but I am just wondering that you guys have had any issues while using Asian movement so far?
Moreover, I am not quite sure whether Puretime use 'new' ETA 7750 movement or 'used' ETA 7750 movement then they modified themselves the movement?

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

I have Asian clones in all of my watches (and I have a few of them and had many more in the past :)) and never had any issue with them. Most people here (myself included) will tell you ETA isn't worth extra money because clones are really good these days. Just get 243 with clone movement and invest extra money in a nice strap.

Btw great choice, 243 is one of my favourite watches of all time. You'll love it!

When they say ETA, they don't really mean the actual brand new swiss ETA, but some old parts scraped together in one piece. Get the asian Noob V3 M serial and you're good to go. Here's mine:

BTW: Your English is more than sufficient for a US resident, I think.

I appreciate for you guys prompt reply :)
I will take Asian one :)
Oh one thing what I heard from one of my friends, when he got a Panerai watch there were some dusts on the dial and lume index. I thought maybe he did not have luck of watch  Otherwise, should I expect that kind of situation?

If you guys dont mind, could you let me know there is a trusty seller for the watch?

Thank you sir.. I've been here just a few years so I am still learning it..:)
I just saw a post that mentioned about differences between Noob V2 and V3 but I am not sure what the difference is..
Is there just release date difference or some features have changed?

You should contact all the TDs, especially if you have not bought from anyone yet. Do take the time to check out each dealer's feedback section. The dust and lume issues is not common, but may appear from time to time. Anyway you should be able to catch this in QC pictures.

Read ALE's guide. It's a veritable treasure trove of information. For example Noob V2 and V3 do not really denote any differences. Mainly V3 was released on Oct 2013 after months of V2 being out of stock. Mostly they are the same with very small differences that are better and worse so they pretty much cancel out.

I appreciate for your reply.
I am reading them now. I like some dealer's feedback so I will choose one of them.
Thank you so much.

Well, since you seem like a nice person, I'll save you the time and money and give you some shortcuts :) As mysterio has already said there's no difference between the V2 and the V3, just a cheap marketing trick to attract customers. I've had the V2 and now own a V3 and it's THE SAME. The dust incident was merely incidental, it doesn't happen very often. I've bought many many reps so far and it never happened to me. Picking out dealers is a tough job and it can cost you some nerves, and you know nerves can't be restored. So far I've bought from 6 different dealers and the best by far are Sora from Shinewatch and Sead from Supermirrors. Both very fast, responsive, pack their parcels very well and have the best prices. My 2 cents. Cheers!

If you go with Sead, you will need to ask for QC pics otherwise you won't get them and he will just send the watch.
