Inherited my dads watches. Is this PAM real?

Hi folks. Long story short my father passed away a couple weeks ago from stage 4 cancer. He was only 66, which sucks beyond anything I can explain.

My father had a crazy love for watches, fast cars, gadgets and mont blanc pens, DuPont lighters; he loved collecting stuff.

Anyway back in the day years ago I introduced him to this forum, and I know for a fact he ordered a couple of Panerai’s. As a watch collector 99% of his pieces are genuine, however this was just a brief period in his life when he wanted to see the quality of a replica. I know he bought a white face luminor chrono (a fantasy watch), just not sure of any others.

So check out the below. It’s obviously a Luminor 1950 3-Day Chrono Flyback. However this particular model is a special edition, #xxx of 1500.

Let me know what you think and if I need to provide better photos. He may have a box for it but I haven’t been able to look yet.

If the fly back function works (resets and restarts with one push) then it’s most likely real, I’d say.

Sorry to hear about your loss, please accept my condolences.

What you have there is a Pam 524, the P series would place it as a 2013 +/- 1 release. IIRC, the black / PVD to the 524 is the 580.

AFAIK I dont think a rep was ever made of this and the p9100 movement is only used on watches with the fly back feature. The 524, 525, 653, 654, 614, 615 are those that come to mind but there are a few.

It sells in the neighborhood of $7500 - $8000 +/- on Paneristi, WUS or RolexForum.

Please accept my condolences

As above commented you have a PAM 524 P-series (2013)

Maybe the bezel has been repolished for some reason
