I have this PAM 217 which must date from 2005, and it seems to me that it is with the number from Eddie LEE ....

Yes, for the correct answer, they said, more photos are required, but I think that’s what it is. I had my first pam127 with the same movement, the back cover with numbers and the crown are very similar.

If all you're after is in the title "information on this movement of a PAM217", then this is an incorrect movement for a PAM217. The plates are from the old Unitas 6497, not the ETA ones that Panerai uses for the PAM217.

Based on some info I read, Eddie Lee's cases for the PAM217 had the correct caseback. That caseback is not for a PAM217 (H series out of 1000) but a PAM127 (E series out of 1950).

Yes, the number is indeed 1000 copies for the 217. But I read that Eddie LEE, used the same boxes for the 127 and the 217 in the 2000s.
This watch is still a mystery about its origin ....

Yes, my 127 was the same. Green markers, pale thick print, the same crystal ...
Moreover, I had the same CG, it turned out to be unaffiliated for 127 with a lever up. The case was different from my ZF in that it was a little smoother, with some processing errors, but the main one was a little thinner below the bezel, and if I did not have front loading. And yes, the back cover with the number 0117 and quite thin engravings. Later, when I joined the forum, I found out that something similar to this is called the EL case.
I don’t know what 217 should look like with this case, but I suspect that often the details were mixed up and tried to make the maximum number of models out of their minimum variety. Therefore, the combination of these details could change as you wish.
At home, spare parts from these watches should have remained, I can photograph them if comparison is required.
