Hello. I'm currently looking for the DayDate clone that's right for me. During my research I came across the three big ones. BP, GMF and EWF. I understand what the advantage of GMF Tungsten is, the tungsten content. How does BP feel about EWF? I don't attach great importance to an engraved bridge in the movement. What appeals to me about the EWF is the material of 904L stainless steel. Rolex probably uses this too. What other details differ between BP and EWF? Except the engravings on the bridges. Thanks

Not sure I understand you. If you talk tungsten you talk either yellow or white gold reps. In both cases, the kind of steel has no importance since it will never look like white gold. If this difference doesn't bother you, then I don't see any advantage in going for the 904L, if I can I always opt for the cheaper option.
Then, you can replace it to get closer to the white gold hue.
In general, BP is considered a bit better than ewf qualitywise, but rumors have it that GMT, BP and ewf are connected in any case so there's a high chance they source many parts from the same places.
Recently though I think ewf has made improvements in terms of quality, so there's that, too.
Personally, BP reps always have satisfied me, solid di choices for the money.

OK. Thanks for your experience. The appearance of the steel is not as important to me as its durability. But I believe that both stainless steels perform equally well.

I meant "replate", not "replace"...
I'd stick to the cheaper steel, but I admit I'm not demanding and don't care for any difference myself
