Info request re. Gen vs Rep Pam buckles

Did a search and only found pimlicos deployant thread
I am looking for information or tips in differentiating between gen and rep buckles (26mm)
I am looking for a new buckle for my gen 372 because i somehow misplaced it
There are heaps on sale on the bay, but barring the price can anyone give me some pointers?
Btw i find it ridiculous this little piece of metal can cost 500+ aud...

I would't be worry about the buckle, the rep should be good enough. It is the same as the 127 and 622, correct?
But for a nice 372 I'd go with a vintage strap with sewn in GPF. :thumbup:
