Hi i've owned both the gen and the bvf rep . The BVF 35mm is known to have the floating R in the dial , which is noticeable . The case shape and lugs length is also different in comparison to the gen . BVF is slightly smaller and narrower than the gen . Imo the best option is the GF one , but since the factory is closed , 3KF has the least amount of flaws .Hi,
I can't find a comparison between BVF and 3KF. I intend to buy a white Santos 35mm but I don't know which one to choose, the TD offers me BVF or 3KF, I searched but couldn't find any differences. Thanks to whoever can help me.
Thank you so muchHi i've owned both the gen and the bvf rep . The BVF 35mm is known to have the floating R in the dial , which is noticeable . None of these reps are NWBIG . Imo the most unique thing about the santos is its design and case finishing . So when I've bought the bvf rep , i was looking to find the closest one in terms of case shape and lugs + finishing . Unfortunately the bvf model was not as accurate in those areas as the GF . But GF also had major flaws such as the loose screws on the bracelet and the noisy rotor . As for the 3KF version , I really don't know because i haven't bought one of those but from what I've read in the main thread about the santos ,the 3kf has a very good dial color ( in the white version )+ numerals print and it looks slightly more proportionate to the gen than the bvf one ..Thank you so much
What are the defects of the 3KF compared to the gen? While the GF is very close to gen in everything?
NICE !!!!!!
I don't think I will ever sell this watch, except if I need to live in a cardboard boxNICE !!!!!!
I miss mine a lot . I regret selling it , but it was 2 years ago at the peak of its reselling value
Never say never . During pandemic people were going crazy over luxury watches and paid PREMIUM to acquire even entry level pieces . Demand was insane . If you get an offer WAY WAY above what you've paid for a piece that was fairly easy to find in the non pandemic years , i believe you'd reconsider selling it .I don't think I will ever sell this watch, except if I need to live in a cardboard box
