I'm wondering what the most indistinguishable clones you have seen or know off are. Elsewhere on the forum I heard panerai clones are almost impossible to tell as clones? What else? Please include watch name model and factory that makes the best clone for it. Whilst we are at it let's also point out the most easily distinguishable clones. Elsewhere I read that ap chronos for example are the very easy to tell as clones owing to their thickness. Does this still hold true or have factories started cloning those correctly. Yes I know there are hundred such discussions but I also know that having all this in one mega thread will help us all. Tia for your inputs.

Hi and welcome to RWI! Glad you found your way here.
Regarding your question(s), well, there's a forum with all the information. On a general basis, the simpler the watch, the more "indistinguishable". The more popular a model, the more efforts will be put by factories to make it "indistinguishable".
Please take some time to read the sticky threads in the new members area (all subsections), learn the basic forum rules and get some very good advice in the process. A number of questions has already been answered there, this is just an example:

Sales rules infraction is taken very seriously here. As a new member you are not eligible to sell. Sorry, but I'd follow the following advice HARD:
Everyone has different expectations, requirements and needs. A "mega thread with the best reps" would be as pointless as a mega thread on a car forum that lists only BMWs and Audis as "the best", as I'm sure the Honda or Hyundai crowd would disagree.
By the way, Panerai reps are actually rather among the (much) less perfectly executed reps as they are notorious for almost all of them having the wrong thickness (too thick).

If you are speaking about Panerai reps, the best top Factory will be the VSF Factory ones.
If you are asking about AP models like AP 15500 etc (non chronograph), the ZF ones are top notch at the moment.
It all depends on which rep brands you want.

You didn't get that from any of our TD's. Maybe you should open a thread up and ask the members to either confirm or deny that your Sub is a VSF.
