Good evening.
As you might notice, I'm new around here. The sole purpose of this submission is to locate a super rep (or at least, decent) of a very rare piece of french design, called the 'Tortue', by Cartier, part of their exclusive 'Privé' collection. Various models have been produced since its introduction in 1912; chronographs, hybrid movements, tourbillons, perpetual calendars, moon phase calendars, and more, its last iteration being the most notable: The 'CPCP Minute Repeater' (2003), fitted with a striking, repeating Grand Complication designed by illustrous watchmaking craftsmen Dominique Renaud & Giulio Papi, over and exquisitely chosen Audemars Piguet substruction.
I'm not trying to emulate some extremely anfractuous (the old chaps at Jaeger-LeCoultre call the complication 'the infernal tower' for a reason) USD$500,000 minute repeater; I just wish to become acquainted where should I start looking for if I desiderate to purchase an acceptable rep of a Tortue Monopoussoir, the variant that only adds a chronograph, naturally, mounted over an automatic movement. I've previously researched myself and looked hither and yon for this particular piece, and found nothing. I ought forwarn you beforehand that the closest thing to the Monopoussoir I could find are quartz movement Tortues in Trustytime's website.
Patiently waiting for your response,
Iñaki
