In Search for a New PAM - KW312 or KW127?

Hello Everyone,

It's been a while since I purchased my last PAM 346 from KW and I was really impressed with the built and quality after seeing the gen at our local dealers. But now my heart rings for another PAM, and I can't decide between the newest KW312 vs. KW127.

I've read pretty much all of the info available on RWI on both watches and both of them seems to be really good reps. I love the make and finish of the 312, the silver hands really gives it a modern & dressy look, and I'm not too worried about the balance wheel @6 vs. gen @7. At the same time I'm tempted by the 127 as well...for reasons that we all know so no need to reiterate the obvious.

After owning a number of reps my favorite comes back to the Noob 111. For those of you who owns a 111, which of the 312 or 127 do you think is worth getting next?

I was hoping that you guys could shed some light on a question that I believe hasn't been answered yet - between the KW127 and KW 312, which one has more of the "GEN APPEARANCE" and "GEN FEEL"?

Buy 127. Why? Because of the movement. I've changed st2555 in my 312 twice already, and 127 is still working fine.

I would also buy the KW127. The wrist presence is awesome and the 6497 movement is almost bulletproof.

Due to movement accuracy and reliability better PAM 127

Thanks Chel, Interesting point because I thought the Seagull movement are known to be quite reliable. But nevertheless I trust that you are speaking from experience.

Thanks Chris, I guess it's because I've never seen a real one in person yet. Do you have a KW127? If so would you care to share a wristshot for the strap that you are using? Thanks again!

ALE, I want to take this chance and say thank you for the work in compiling all the available info on 312 and 127...both are such popular models with so many versions and thus so much information scattered all over. You really made it easy for us to learn about them.
