Of all those $800.-$1000. Pams that folks bought or built from LH or EL or JF or FGD parts a few years back, now that the H, and Noob factories, and even Dsn, are building nicer stuff for @ $250.00 .....Should be interesting watching the "adjective mongers" over on those other sites try to sucker the newbies in!!!

The factories and DSN are definetly builder nicer stuff than before but better than highly modified PAMs... I don't think so.

Nowadays its not very smart economically to build pre-v's though. They are taking a 40%+ hit on the market..

If you want the best. They are still the best.

Its hard to find a 024 or 025 that beats DSN's version. I don't know about the other watches but I know for the money DSN kills it!

Already happening, but mostly they sit at the prices they are asking. Kind of like them old 4-liner ect Pams that were built a few years back and then started crapping out. When opened all the junk inside was a myth on many. Those went for 3000.00 to 5000.00. Now the poor schmucks who bought them new can`t get 20-30% of what they paid for them and are slowly parting them out as a last resort.
I have 1/2 dozen of FGD dials sitting in a box. No plans to mod yet, maybe never will. Still have my 63 & 28a from El all modded up. If they re-do those all the better, building them way back when was an enjoyment and made many new friends along the way.
