I'm in love - Anyone own this rep? Pan Lum. 44mm Chrono!

Hey guys. I know, I know, and believe me I have bee researching. I'm on five different boards and while I'm neither a guru nor a big poster, I've been reading a lot!

Anyway I know I want my first rep to be a Panerai Luminor Automatic 44mm Chrono w/ the SS band. PAM 250 or 188

Anyone own this watch? Can anyone recommend a dealer (joshuas over andrews, andrews over joshuas....sashwatch?)

Here's a example of what I'm looking for. Any Panerai with a SS band really. Chrono is preferable, but really looking for the most accurate and durable pan rep w/ SS band for the $$.

Pam188 is easier to relume and the dials is pretty accurate compare to gen (and replace the crown).. both andrew, josh and pt has it ( I think its the same supplier anyway) hope this help.

I heard the 250 is pretty well defined too... An understated watch.

Here is a wrist shot of my 188. I bought this from another forum member who originally bought it from Belial. I would say that if you are going to purchase a 188 make sure that you find one that has all hands in black like the gen. Most reps I've seen have the silver hands.

personaly, I preffer the black dial. I have the 196, got it relumed and palp crown installed by Ziggy. it is my favorite watch!

I preffer the look of the 196 over the 250, but I have not handled the 250, only seen pics...

One thing I would highly recomend, go with the 7753 version...it is worth the few $$ extra. I first went with the asian model, and took it in the shorts re-sellling it on the board to get the 7753 version....

yup.... what he said.. get black subdial...and then relume and then replace crown.. now its pretty close right ...
