I posted a thread a little while ago about a PAM I bought fairly recent.

The thing is that I would like to hear what you pro's thing the model is.
I Have my suspicions that it is a PAM375 but I have searched around and it does not seem to be available as a rep.
And if it is, they messed it up by having the lever downwards :(
The dealer said it was a new model, I don't know.
It is a ceramic 1950 47mm model with a hand wound movement.

Sorry that the pictures is not the best.

Please help..

Yes it seems a bad attempt to get a PAM 375
PAM 375 is made of COMPOSITE, not ceramic,
The gen PAM 386 is made of a COMPOSITE.
Composite is the result of an electrochemical process of ceramization of the aluminium, this material is harder than the ceramics normally used for cases in watch-making (zirconia), and also harder than metals like steel and titanium, as well as being lighter. Thanks to its qualities of ductility and reliability, the Panerai composite allows for complex and extremely precise workings and is the result of processes that, up to now, were employed in the creation of components for the aeronautic industry and for car and motorcycle races requiring the highest levels of performance.
This rep is made of SS PVD coated
Obviously the CG is downwards, surely taken the CG from the Chronos 1950 which have the CG like that.
The gen cristal is sapphire 2mm lightly dome-shaped and without distortion like this rep presents.
Concerning movement the gen has a "manifattura" OPIII completely different (as usual) and impossible to copy.
A low grade replica of a beautiful and awesome watch
What's the dealer and the price ? please

Thanks guys.

Sorry to hear that. If it is that bad It is a throw away :(

I bought it from a "dealer" in Thailand that I have bought a fair few good rep's from. It is actually from the "factory/warehouse" where the reps come into Thailand.
Price, about US$ 180, straight out of the factory/warehouse.

So I am sorry to hear that it is that bad.......

Don't go wrong Cibbe

It is a bad replica, that's evident.
But if the PVD coating is good it will be a good and nice watch.

Enjoy it my friend !!
