This movement is in a Gmt I bought a few years back. The watch itself is decent but the movement is garbage. It's def a cheaper unit it doesn't even have a numeric identification number that I can see. If there is any way I can add a different movement to this watch to wear it daily or just have some fun messing with it to learn that's what I'd like to do.

Is there a way I can replace it with better movement?
miyota 8215, but this movement has no gmt-function and there is no GMT-Variant of this movement. Maybe you can use a 2836, but then you need a dial (or you have to change the dial-feet), hands, a movement holder ring and a overlay for the datewheel. its some work, but could be the start of a new hobby.

The simple short explanation is no. You can't. The longer explanation would be it would require different hands, the dial feet are different position, the stem height is different, a better movement may or may not fit into the mid case, etc etc. Assuming the movement physically fits, you still have a bunch of other parts you have to source and by the time you're done you could have just spent a comparable or lower sum to get a better watch to begin with

Why not install a new movement? I assume there's a movement issue from what you have said? They're cheap , about $45 on AliExpress. I doubt there's much of anything on there that's genuine spec, I don't know if anything is even worth saving beyond if you fix that watch. I'd just sell it as is and get a better one.

No this movement has 0 issues and works fine but it's obvious that it's not gen or even close. you can see the second hand tick and all of the functions are completely different. my thought was if I could upgrade the mid case and crystal to something better like my clean v2 pepsi it would be a great daily. thes particular watch hast the cheaper bezel as well and I can't even begin to tell how to remove it. I removed and changed the bezels ring from s coke, pepsi and eventually a batman by soaking it in lighter fluid which softend the glue that holds it in and it falls right out. Aside from the monocle having a scratch and some minor cosmetic scratches it's still a decent watch.

In short I was hoping i would be able to put a 3186, sapphire crystal with gen style bezel. Change the clasp to a 16710 style which is what the watch looks to be aside from the newer style bracelet and then wear it daily. I had 2 gen 16710 coke gmts and sold both one in 03 the other in 06. Then the value skyrocketed on them and now there's no way I can afford one. I paid 35 and 3800 for mine back then and I was single with no one to answer too lol.
