First post here, but have used the forum as a great resource to learn the basics! I've received the email copied below for more information for my payment. I'm slightly concerned, and thought best to ask if i should proceed, with the nature of the purchase and China's less than stellar reputation for identity fraud.
RE: payment, I used a curve card, which is linked to a CC. Payment has come out of the credit card account to the London company name. So no issues on my end.
"The CC payment gateway side has emailed saying that your transaction seems like an unauthorised payment, and has put a hold on the amount.
They have asked for the following details of the transaction to verify that the buyer is legitimate.
1. A photo/scan of the Credit Card used
2. A most recent Credit card bill of the Credit Card used, preferably with proof of this transaction.
3. ID scan so as to make sure the buyer is legitimate
Please kindly provide those information ASAP."
