I'd hate to do this but what's with the 61's?

Ok, so I'm not so hot on the open casebacks... just because. I figured that 61 would be a great choice for close casebacks but I understand that all 61's come with wrong serial numbers, is this true?

What are some of the positives and negatives of 61's and who has good models (of the RWI dealers)?

Also, just as important, what are some other Panny closeback alternatives in your opinions? 005? Then who's? Anything else?

Oh, BTW, who has the best sub?

Flame me baby!

061 has DEAD-ON accurate caseback. I got one from Joshua after doing hours of research.

It's a D-series TI caseback, and every number on the caseback is correct -

OP6535
BB1020338
D1783/3500

I saw a gen caseback that had D1786 (+3 from rep caseback) or something like that and accordingly, BB number was greater by 3 as well (So it read BB1020341).

Hope this helps. The one I got from Joshua had a CG lever issue though - won't close tightly. Other than this, it was tip top. I am sending this to Vaccum for relume, cannon pin fix, and the CG Lever tighting :) (Joshua was nice enough to send me another CG if that'll resolve the issue, but didn't work out).
