I took my Ferrari for a ride: Yeah!

Yesterday, I went to a race track, my familly had gotten me a 5 laps gift aboard a Ferrari F430 for Chrismas, but I never had a chance to do it!

Finally when I arrived there they proposed me an Upgrade to the the latest F430 F1 Scuderia ,lighter and more powerful: 510 BHP (the 'B' stands here for BRUTAL)
Notice the titanium wheel:

Anyway the ride was awesome, the track is 3.5km long (about 2 miles) and the damn car is fast, very fast.
But...
I sucked!
I know how to drive, but this ain't about driving: it's Racing!
That's totally different!
When you're full throttle and speed shifting directly from the steering wheel and you're on 5 at 200kph, 100 meters before entering hairpin bend, you hit the brake HARD (very hard) then release lightly the brake to keep the weight of the car forward to turn while your down shifting then when your steering wheel is almost back at zero you go full again: IT'S JUST NUTS!
3.bang.4.bang.5.bang.BRAKE.release easy.turn.4.3.2.bring the steering back at zero....
This 7 times per lap: Time goes by fast!
Anyway, as i said I sucked, so I when with a guy actually racing in the Porche Cup Championship: a PILOT!
For that ride we took another monster:

And that was fun!
2 breathtaking laps
Total mastery!

I did this about 3 years ago just for fun, IO did the 1 hour which was qualyfying toward conventional wheel endoresement, high performance (if you did not have it) complex (if you did not have it), and aerobatic and UAT.

After flying an A6 I had a new found respect for Stang pilots back in ETO.
